Zebra 2844 Desktop Printer (formerly an Eltron printer)

The Zebra LP 2844 direct thermal and Zebra TLP 2844 thermal transfer desktop label printers expand Zebra's 28-Series product family, offering 4-inch print-width capability. These models provide a sturdy double-walled case design, and come equipped with a new-generation of controller board, motor and power supply that drive the Zebra 2844s at a print speed of 4 inches per second! An improved print head provides 203dpi with enhanced print quality, and the choice of direct thermal or thermal transfer printing technology ensures greater flexibility in supporting a broad variety of labeling applications.

With Zebra's OpenACCESS design, media loading is completed in seconds... then the 2844 printers are ready for action! Both models are loaded with a powerful complement of controller features, such as 512KB of standard flash memory for forms, graphics and external font storage, 256KB of SRAM to print longer label lengths, parallel, serial and high-speed USB interfaces, fonts, character sets and EPL Programming Language (EPL2).

The LP & TLP also support a range of options and accessories for added versatility and easy integration into applications such as:
