VIPColor VP2020 Scalability & Security
The VIPColor VP2020 is a fully enabled Internet printing appliance that makes the deployment and maintenance of localized printing stations easy and flexible. Each printer contains an internal Web page that can be securely accessed from a standard browser. On this page, relevant statistics are displayed indicating current ink reserves, print head usage and lifetime supplies consumption, along with many other details. Furthermore, when the printer requires operator intervention -- such as for ink replenishment – alerts may be sent via standard email networks, including wireless systems.

All of this transparent interconnectivity and resource management adds up to seamless interoperability on industry-standard platforms. Windows® 9x, NT, Me and XP versions are supported out-of-the-box. TrueType® fonts and bar codes are rendered directly on board the printer to reduce processing times and increase image accuracy.
