Description
The Topaz IDGem is a combined signature capture and fingerprint sensor terminal for use where ID verification of recognition is a top priority. Topaz IDGem retains all of the high-quality signature capture features of the Topaz SignatureGem and Topaz SigLite tablets with the added benefit of a fingerprint capture sensor for an extra degree of security in determining the identity of a user. Topaz IDGem's multiple hardware solutions range from a standalone fingerprint sensor to integrated interactive LCD signature capture/Fingerprint sensor terminal, making it an excellent choice for use in any application where extra security is desired. Software support is available at no extra charge and includes ActiveX, Java, Wintab drivers, and a shared C library for the capture, encryption, formatting and secure processing of signatures including bmp, tif, jpg, emf, and wmf image formats. Also included is Topaz SigID software for the electronic scoring and recognition of digital fingerprints. Topaz SigPlus software is compliant with eSign, state and federal digital signature regulations by virtue of its ability to bind and encrypt the signature to a document or electronic form data. Examples and software plug-ins are bundled with the tablet. Topaz IDGem is available with Topaz SignatureGem 4x5, LCD1x5, LCD 4x3, and Topaz SigLite LCD tablets with HID or standard USB interfaces.
