Installing From Your Uncompressed Files
These instructions assume that you
have either a diskette or a temporary hard disk directory containing the
files necessary to install a demonstration copy of the Seagull BarTender software
product.

To Install the Seagull BarTender for Windows |

| If you downloaded a self-extracting EXE file from our web page, the
Seagull BarTender
Setup program will be launched for you automatically. All you have to do is follow the
on-screen instructions and your Seagull BarTender will be ready to use in a few minutes. |

| If the software to install from is on a floppy diskette, simply put the floppy diskette
into drive A and then perform the following task, depending on the version of Windows you
are running: |

| Windows 3.1: Select File, Run, and then type A:SETUP
Windows 95, 98 or NT: Select Start, Run, and then type A:SETUP
Regardless of which version of Windows you were running, you will next be guided
through the very simple steps necessary to complete your installation.

| If the software to install from is sitting in a temporary directory on your
harddrive,
then perform the following task, depending on the version of Windows you are running:

| Windows 3.1: Use your File Manager to open up the directory (or folder) containing your
unzipped demo files. Find the SETUP.EXE program and double-click on it.
Windows 95 or NT: Double-click on your My Computer icon, and then double-click on your
C drive icon to display the contents of your drive C. Locate the folder containing your
unzipped demo files. Find the SETUP.EXE program in that folder and double-click on it.
Regardless of which version of Windows you were running, you will next be guided
through the very simple steps necessary to complete your installation.
