Opticon Model "Super" SAM 140
Slit Aperture Miniature Bar Code Scanner

The Opticon "Super" SAM-140 Slit Aperture Module is a miniature fixed bar code scanning device. It outputs a digitized waveform (TTL).

The Opticon "Super" SAM-140 Slit Aperture Module is ideal for OEM applications where its compact size and optional optical configurations make it easy to adapt to any scanning system. The Opticon "Super" SAM-140 Slit Aperture Module fits into even the tightest spaces and is ideal for applications such as lottery tickets and security devices where miniature size and aggressive scanning are required.

Opticon "Super" SAM-140 Slit Aperture Modules are available in either front or side view, as well as either horizontal or vertical aperture configurations. The Module is enclosed in a rugged polycarbonate enclosure to protect the optics and electronics from dirt and other environmental hazards. The standard configuration comes with a 5 ft. cable terminated an a 9 pin squeeze connector. Custom cable lengths, connectors types and pin-outs are available.

The Opticon "Super" SAM-140 Slit Aperture Module has absolutely no moving parts. The 100% sold state design assures continuous performance and reliability. The Opticon "Super" SAM-140 Slit Aperture Module has a five year warranty.
