RACO Receives “Total Sales Growth” Award from Paxar Subsidiary, Monarch Marking Systems

CINCINNATI, OH—July 27, 2001—RACO Industries, Inc. was recognized by Paxar’s (NYSE: PXR) IPS (Identification Pricing Solutions) Business Unit with the “Total Sales Growth” Award which honors the distributor, categorically, with the largest increase in price marking product sales from 1999 to 2000.

RACO, a leading reseller in the bar coding and data collection industry, has been working with Paxar Corporation’s subsidiary Monarch Marking Systems, now called the IPS Business Unit, for over a decade. RACO sells Paxar’s hand-held item marking guns and supplies to its customer base comprised of 18,000 clients and VARs.
