The LX MX5 is designed for extreme environments from hot and humid ports to ice cold storage facilities and anything in between. The LX MX5 can withstand intense water spray and is totally protected against dust. With its ultra-rugged magnesium housing, the LX MX5 can easily withstand multiple drops from over six feet. And with the optional internal heater it operates in temperatures as low as -22° F (-30° C).

And yes, you can be both ultra-rugged and easy to use. The LXE MX5 features a color TFT reflective screen for clear viewing both indoors and outdoors, full alpha-numeric keyboard for simple data entry, and an ergonomically designed vertical form factor for easy handling and operation.

The LXE MX5 can also be equipped with an internal standard or long-range 1D and 2D barcode scanners for maximum flexibility.
