The LXE 6520 is an 802.11b-compliant Access Point that brings a new level of open systems connectivity to LXE's robust, high-performance 2.4GHz radio frequency networking products.

Unmatched Coverage Area
Combined with LXE's superior antenna products, the LXE 6520 Acces Point provides coverage unmatched by other 2.4GHz networking products. In some commercial sites, LXE has achieved up to four times the coverage area with the 6520 and an LXE antenna compared to competing offerings.

Superior Data Throughput
The LXE 6520 Access Point, when installed in an LXE RF network, has delivered throughput rates as high as 6 Mbps - in busy, outdoor, real-world environments! That's more than three times the data throughput obtained using other 2.4GHz systems. These results were obtained with the LXE 6520 operating in 11Mbps data rate mode.

Exceptionally Robust RF
Locations such as container port facilities and aluminum factories generate levels of RF reflection and noise that bring other systems to their knees. In these environments, traditionally hostile to RF networking, an LXE 6520-based network and appropriately outfitted portable computers actually outperform. LXE can now demonstrate that 2.4GHz (802.11b) networking is a superior solution for such determines settings as ports, factories and manufacturing plants.
