Javelin Systems LP Touch screen PCThe Javelin LP is a compact, low profile PC designed for the high-traffic, point-of-sale (POS) environment. The LP is network-ready with an integrated 100/10BaseT controller and Ethernet interface. With 4 serial ports, two of which can supply +5Volt power, the LP can accommodate a variety of peripheral equipment such as cash drawers, card readers, scanners, and printers.

Its rugged, aluminum die-cast, convection cooled case provides the Javelin LP tremendous advantage over other POS systems. With its solid cover, the LP is spill-resistant. Because it has no fans, the LP is noiseless and has no vents into which airborne debris can enter and collect inside the system. Its low profile design requires minimal counter space.

I/O connectors are located at the bottom of the unit which allows easy routing of cables through a small opening in a counter or desk top--no more dangerous and unsightly cables on counter tops and work areas.

The Javelin LP comes with an integrated touch screen controller which supports the Elographics Bus Monitor, eliminating the need for an external controller.

The Javelin LP features flexible open-architecture components which provide you with a superior return on your investment. As POS software becomes more sophisticated and elaborate, the Javelin LP is equipped to support the growing demands of the business environment.
