Fixed Position Industrial Bar Code Laser Scanner
The Opticon DFM 1000 fixed position bar code laser scanner has been specifically developed for industrial use. It will scan and decode at a rate of 1000 scans per second, which translates to reliability and accuracy when reading bar code at high speeds. The scanner is housed in a rugged metal housing which can easily be mounted in any industrial environment.
The Opticon DFM 1000 bar code laser scanner comes with several I/O lines, that can be configured by the user to integrate the scanner into many industrial applications. The laser scanner can be triggered by the internal auto-trigger or, alternatively, by the external trigger line.

The Opticon DFM 1000 bar code laser scanner is equipped with multiple interfaces. As standard, RS232 and RS485 are directly available. A wedge interface is available upon request.

Plug-in RF adapters that are powered from the RS232 signal convert the scanner and host into a versatile, long distance (up to 500 feet), non-wired unit.
